Angry Burn scar on my nose!

I am a 20 year old male. I was washing my face a few months ago and I used a pumet stone(sp) as a scrubber. Well stupid me scrubed too hard and now I have a dime sized scar on my nose on the side and slightly on the bridge. It took a good 1 1/2 months to heal. I can only imagine how many layers I took off! When it was healing I was putting neosporin, vitamin e, aloe vera, hydrocortozone, zinc oxide, and cocoa button with vitamine e on it. Now it is somewhat of a raised scar. Somedays it turns bright red looking like I have a pimple! And somedays it fades pretty good. I can't leave my house with out covering it up with makeup. This has made my life suck for the past 3 1/2 months. I have bought jojoba oil and have been mixing it with vitamin e and it doesn't do anything. Now when I touch the scar I can't feel my finger on it. I can pinch it and have no feeling. Is there something I can take for this? I know it takes time to fade but it seems the scar is getting worst.

Thanks for taking the time to read!
Please help!

Why do scars turn bright red every once in awhile? It turns red then goes back to normal.

If the skin feels different (like what you said about having no feeling in the area, it's raised, etc) it sounds like special scar tissue and I'm not sure that it ever really goes away. Is it sort of waxy? My friend had a deep cut on her face from a car accident and what healed over was a waxy, raised scar tissue...and I'm not sure there's much that can be done about it short of plastic surgery

I was in the same accident and was burned very badly across my chest by the seatbelt and I have that sort of "weird" scar skin too, it's a little raised and in an odd pattern (probably the pattern of the seatbelt fabric!). I don't think it'll ever fully go away. What's odd is that my scar does the same as yours, sometimes it goes red and sometimes you can hardly see it at all. I don't know what causes the colour change but I think it might have something to do with body temperature?

Well you see this scar is wierd because now today it is bright red again and I can feel it when I touch it. When the scar is wet it looks really bad but when it dries it fades about 70%. Somedays it's raised and some it's not. It got dry and I was peeling it the other day and I peeled a little dry skin off and a very little blood and clear liquid came out. I don't know if the pores are getting clogged or what. It's not a pimple. I don't know, I guess I'll keep applying all this stuff to it. It will fade someday. The nose heals fast for me anyway. We'll see.
