What would cause a white line through each fingernail?

If I remember correctly it has something to do with lack of niacin or zinc but not both. Look into it in a search on the web - fingernail, white mark, niacin, zinc. Good luck.

Are the lines running vertical or horizontal? If they are horizontal, it could be Leuconychia. Do a web search using that terminology.

I heard it was calcium deposits. You might have too much in your diet, I'd check it out online. Good luck!
