Question nail polish

what is a good brand of nail polish? I hate using the cheap stuff because it always peels off, I want something good. Any suggestions?

I've had great experience with Lancome nail polishes, but it is a bit on the pricey side - $12.50-$16.50 a bottle. For me it is worth it because I only have my nails done every other week.

IN all honesty, it is not necessarily the price you pay for the polish, but what you do to the nails BEFORE applying the polish. Here are a few steps to follow:

1. Remove any trace of old polish with an acetone based polish remover, or straight acetone.

2. File the nails and wash your hands to remove all traces of nail dust.

3. Cleanse and dehydrate the nail plate by dampening a lint-free wipe with straight acetone.

4. Apply base coat, two THIN coats of color, then a good topcoat.

I have always taken care of my nails and they get real long. All I have ever used is two coats of any kind of clear and then just the cheap wet and wild nail polish then one more clear coat. I find it stays on until my nail starts to show new nail AT THE TOP. yOU DON'T NEED EXPENSIVE POLISH, JUST PIT IT ON CORRECT...
