Post product suggestions PLEASE!!!

I desperately need hair help. I have extremely fine AND thin shoulder length hair that is completely unmanageable. I basically want it straight, but it is always curling somewhat and puffing up. Even the "wonder" flat irons do nothing. What shampoos/conditioners/products might help me? I got layers around my face yesterday which i hate and only make it look worse, so any advice would be appreciated!

If you want more body, try having your stylist "stack it" in the back. That's where the layers are shorter toward the crown of the head giving it the illusion of thick, full hair. Also, just let your hair curl or be wavy, whatever it is. Try a spray gel or mousse and let it dry au-natural. You may also try some short bangs and brush them off to the side. They are very trendy and will break up the look of flat, fine hair. Good luck!
