Post eyelashes

I noticed that my eyelashes are really short now. Maybe the old lashes fell out or I pulled them out with the eyelash curler before the new ones had a chance to completely grow. They are short on both eyes. I hope they will get longer! My bottom lashes are longer than they are.

Fran...you may want to buy a lash conditioner. This helps your lashes become stronger. There is no proof that they will grow faster though. I would stop using a lash curler. They are the worst thing you could ever do to your eyes. I would try a good curling mascara (Estee Lauder and Lancome have some good ones) When you apply start on the top of your lashes and then come from underneath like you would normaly apply. This helps give them lift and curl better. Also a dry mascara brush would be good to have. This helps separate your lashes and prevent them from looking like spider legs. Good luck-Roni

I am so sorry to hear that. I hope that they all grow long and thick soon.

My problem is somewhat related. It is about my eyelashes; although I still have long eyelashes (that used to be curly)they are just straight and when I curl them it does not look right. It looks like the middle of the hair has been bent or something. How can I curl them without having that bent up appearance?

backtomyoldself....

I recently read that to prevent the bent look, you use the eyelash curler in 3 spots.
First, at the base of the lashes, then again in the middle, then again near the top. Curls, but evenly.
I think it'll take some practice though.
