I just started taking biotin,I also heard it was good for hair growth. I have also been taking gnc ultranorishair,it has everthing in it that promotes hair growth. But I take extra biotin. keep me posted, let's see if our hair grows!!!!!

I have taken Biotin for a while now and I can tell you it will definitely help your hair and nails. I got it more for my nails as they are so thin and brittle. It has helped make them stronger and grow more quickly. I think it pretty much does the same for hair. I take Biotin Forte 5mg which is pretty much the highest you can get in a single dose. It is about twice as much as the amount you are taking. 5mg=5000mcg. A lot of vitamins contain biotin, but you need to take anywhere from 2-5mg (2000-5000mcg) to really start noticing a difference.

Thank you for answering my question,I will add it up to see how much Iam really taking. I want to start off slow anyway. I have read on other post that it makes you hair thicker, not give it any growh. I must say I have noticed that a little,my hairdresser even mentioned it.

Smile Biotin

I use a supplement for skin, hair and nails. I but it on one of the shopping networks. Works great. I had thinning hair and after seeing a dermatologist now use Rogaine. THAT had fixed that thinning problem. Things are great now. My hair was always thick. Back to normal now.
