Red face Cpap machine

I had my doctor appointment yeaterday and I wil go in on the 28th to be adjusted for a cpap machine. The doc assures me I will feel like a new person when I start using it. I have anoher appointment on the 9 of Feb and I am at a loss at what to ask about. It is all a mystery to me. I did find out that it would be ok to not use the machine on the nights I people sit where I sleep some but get up and down with them all night he said to try to come home and take a nap with the machine in the morning when I get off work . It is a new adventure and I am kinda scared but if it will make me feel better lets go for it.

Moose,
What exactly is a CPAP machine? I've never heard of it.

CPAP stands for continuous positive airway pressure. It is used in Obstructive Sleep Apnea cases, it is a machine that has a mask or nasal piece with it, that a person wears at night to keep a continous + pressure in his/her upperairway so it doesn't collapse throughout the night, in the hopes that the person can have an uninterrupted nights sleep. **Goodluck Moose I have seen it do real wonders for some.**
