Question Little Girl With SPECIAL NEEDS does not sleep at night

I am a care aide for a little girl with special needs - she is 6 yrs old but cognatively is functioning at 24 months. She does not speak makes sounds - she is undiagnosed - Dr. say A-Typical Angelman's syndrome - She has a seziure disorder comtrolled by Depakote and has Renal Tubular Acidosis - She recently has a Spinal Lipoma cut away from her spinal cord and had a tethered spinal cord. Anyways the main problem is she does not sleep at night. She goes to bed without a problem - actually cries cause she wants to get into bed so fast - but will wake up wide awake at 12 midnight and won't go back to bed till 4 or 5 am. We've tried everything from Melatonin Spray, to Melatonin pills, Valarian Root, Rescue Remady, cutting out sugar b4 bed time, and keeping a consistant routine with her. Getting her to bed is not the problem its getting her to stay asleep through the night. She will wake up and scream to be let out of her room. Throwing things all around. Any suggestions would be great. Her parents are going nutz.
Thanks
