Question SNORING: SURGERY ?

I have tried those tapes over the nose, and when I removed it, it tore my skin off along with it. It took a long time to heal. These tapes are dangerous to your health. Has anyone tried regular surgery, or lazer surgery to the throat area. I hear that this may stop snoring, and help better breathing. I also hear that this is a simple and safe procedure. Has anyone had any success with this? Has anyone had any problems with this?
