Cool

aww, poor guy.

it is most likely just a fear of your dreams. usually when a person wakes up from their dream they are still half into the "dream world" for even up 10 minutes of being awake. It's very common to experience unreality inside of reality, /vise versa.

Dreams rock, they can make us question ourselves on what reality really is to you. They can show you how real the unreal can be, and how unreal the real can be

Hi QT,

I used to experience the same "comatose" symptoms a few years ago. I would wake up startled and be unable to move, open my eyes, or even scream for help, and my body would be VERY cold.

Since then, I got more involved in physical fitness and a healthy diet and the symptoms disappeared. In my own case I think it had more to do with the eating of certain foods at a late hour.

Why not give the following a try and see if it helps:
- do not eat any large meals after approximately 7:00pm
- if you become hungry after that time, simply have a piece of fruit.
- go to sleep a little bit earlier and clear your mind before dozing off.

Those are little things that I started doing which worked for me.

Sounds normal, the brain disconnects from your muscles when you sleep. So if your half asleep and wake, your muscles won't respond.
The voices or other sound effects are normal also in that your subconcious supplies them free of charge and are part of the dream state.

Red face

Hey, I have felt simalar to how you have felt. Sometimes when I start to wake up I can't hear nothing, it is kind of like my brain is still shut off and has not kicked in yet. I guess that is what it means.
