stains on fingers

i usually smoke players light, but last nite i was smoking my friends stronger smokes, and when i came home my fingers were all stained yellow, i was soooo grosed out, it totally makes me want to quit, but my actual question is with lighter smokes you dont get the stain as fast and with stonger smokes your fingers get stained faster (as in one night) is this true?
And how do you get rid of these icky stains on fingers??
