Post Narcotic train

Well,

I was hoping I could avoid having to take opiates, especially after completing the Medrol pak, but the pain got so bad at work tonite, I put a call into my NS. They Rx Darvocet. I feel like a walking pharmacy. The pain has gotten much worse and is making me a little witchy and irritable. I told my boss to "shut up" today. (Good thing we have been friends for years) He said, "I'm working on getting you that headset for the phone right now!

I have another appt with the NS in 2 weeks and I guess I will go ahead and let him order the EMG and Myleogram so we can get a better picture of what is going on. Also, wonder if a little cervical traction might help?

I don't like having to take narcotics, but I don't think amputating my head and left arm is a viable option either http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dizzy.gif

Thanks for letting me vent.

Lea
