Unhappy breathing and anxiety

Hi,
How many people have breathing problems that were causung concern,I had an xray that said I had hyperinflated lungs? well I was told the lung fields were clear but the word "hyperinflated" scared me....and as the doctor said I had nothing wrong with me lungs I had been scared for nothing.
When you take a big breath for the xray to be taken it appears on the xray as big lungs.
Do you notice that when you are uptight you feel like you have asthma but when you relax the feeling goes away?
Any one relate to this? Any input you can give me will be appreciated. thank you and God Bless you all.

if it were serious docs wouldve done something by now.. it is however normal.. when u r stressed and uptight your body reacts as if you are in danger and you start to hyventilate.. if you relax then it dont start to panick... try to learn the breathing exercises so when you feel you are stressed you can easly calm yourself down by breathing..

hello Sunset,

i know how you feel. I also feel short of breath but the chest x-rays all came back normal. I just think that at this point I am focusing to much energy and thoughts on my breathing. I wish I could stop doing it but I cant. I wish you the best, I have been dealing with this for over 2 months now. But, I look at it this way - i know things will get better - it just takes time. God Bless you. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif
