Question Facial tingling

Is it possible to have had a stroke but experience tingling/pain in both sides of the body -- especially in the face?

My sister said that when she found me after my stroke, that I was waving my hands toward my face(because I couldn't feel it). I don't even remember if my face was tingling or in pain.

my dad experiences pain on his right side although he can't feel anything on that side and tingling. The Drs. can't give him an explanation have you found out anything?

I'm looking into hyperbaric therapy for him. By the way he had a hemorrahgic stroke 5 years ago.
