the person who posted about being injected - that's a different type of ct scan. I've had two done on the sinuses, one with the injection and one without.
The one with isn't that bad - it's to show contrast in your head.
You lay down on a table and there is this HUGE circle over your head. Sometimes they tell you don't breathe or don't swallow for a minute until they take the picture.
This is different than an MRI where you're in a box and enclosed.
The ct scan is wide open, lasts a few minutes and is painless.
