I have pain and pressure without a runny nose too. I also have had a lot of sinus infections in the past. My doctor finally sent me to an allergist and I found out I had allergies to molds, tree and grass pollens, as well as dust mites, dogs, and cats. I started taking the allergy shots a couple weeks ago. I'm hoping it helps those awful sinus headaches.
I too get tired a lot but I really thought it was from the sinus infections. Maybe not!
No, I don't have any post nasal drip. Its nothing but pressure and pain above my eyes, behind my eyes and sometimes in cheeks and teeth. Every once in a while, the right side of my forehead will hurt, but it is mainly on the left side where most the pain is.
I'm really wondering if its sinus problems or not. It seems to be, but I've heard that TMJ can kind of mimic sinus issues as well.
I also have tinnitus in my left ear and have recently noticed that if I move my jaw/muscles in a certain way or try to keep my jaw shut with my hands and forcefully try to open it, the tinnitus gets worse - during the time I try to forcefully open it - it subsides after I stop.
Any suggestions? Would a normal dentist be good to go to? Or, should I try to find some specialist?
I might have sinus issues as it sure does feel that way, but I'm wondering at the same time about TMJ...
