Re: Can Sinus's make you dizzy??????
Yes, sinus infections can affect the vestibular system via inflammation, eustachian tubes, increase of fluid, etc.
I have BPPV, and when I had a severe sinus infection..my symptoms were 24/7 and nothing like I've ever had in the past. I've had it happen twice where the sinus infection affected my BPPV symptoms ten-fold. A course or two of meds helped the infection and definitely lessened my symptoms. It could have been coincidence, but TWICE?? Hmm.
It's definitely possible since the sinus/vestibular/balance structures are so intricate and close in proximity and can easily be affected.
Best to get it checked out.
If you're able (health/side effects), try Sudafed (60mg). I found that it works well....I use it almost once a day to keep eustachian tubes and sinuses open.
You could also try steaming at night to help clear the sinuses and nasal lavage/wash.
Maybe your infection needs meds. Clavulin worked well on mine.
Hope you get relief soon.
It's all a matter of perspective!
