I am a 29y/o male non-smoker light drinker. Ok... for the last few years (around 5) I have been experiencing blocked nose (alternating between the left and right), Slight pressure in my upper sinuses, dry cough (sometimes), hoarseness (almost daily), dark circles under both eyes (not relieved by rest), and the aggravating task of having to clear my throat constantly. In that same time period I have developed severe heartburn (which I am not sure makes these symptoms worse or if it is the cause of these symptoms). But now to my situation/question, last year I went on vacation and on vaca I free dove to about 20 feet wearing a mask (eyes covered only not the nose). When I went down I felt and heard bubbling in my ears and felt my sinuses ache with the pressure. I came back up thought "boy that sucked" and went about my life. Three days later I arrived home (by car, no flying at all), and all seemed right with the world except for my usual list of obnoxious symptoms. That was until later that day I was laying down and when I arose I was rendered punch-drunk by a sharp stabbing pain above my right eye/temple. After the pain subsided I again went about my daily chores. But the next day after riding to my local Wal-Mart I stood to get out of my car and was struck by this pain again. The pain happened almost daily for about 7-10 days then "POOF" disappeared... That was until lately when they started to reoccur this time its only one or twice a month and it involves either side. I guess I really didn't have a question... but I do welcome your thoughts and experiences with sinus or allergy symptoms and how they react to the pressure of water and or air pressure.
