cancer of sinuses please help - Sinus Problems Message Board

my mum was diagnosed with cancer of the sinuses last night.

I am devestated.

she is only 54, she has had all the symptoms for a year now.

has anyone else out there experienced it or known anyone with it? If so what happened? treatment? etc?

I would really appriciate any info

My friend was diagnosed with cancer of the throat. He had it for almost a year also, he was too afraid to go to the doctor. When it was diagnosed he was stage 4. the treatment was tough, chemo and radiation. He finished in July. His pet scan on friday showed no cancer! I feel alot had to do with prayer! Your mom can fight this!It is possible! What kind of cancer? Is it squamous cell?Keep positive and be there for her! Let me know if I can help!

Hi My sister in-law has been fighting breast cancer 4 yrs now, at last scan, it was shown to have moved into the sinus area,she had radiation done for it, I will not sugar coat it, the after effects she suffered was bad, her tounge was badly burned and swelled, for about 2 weeks,but she is doing great now,keep faith and stay strong for your Mom,your in my prayers, Solar
