Is this a sinus infection? please help - Sinus Problems Message Board

It seems like I always get a sinus infection when I fly. I flew to florida Dec 25th and after that,my sinuses started hurting so bad and I got anenlarged lymph node on my neck... It's weid because I didn't get any yellow mucus. Mainly pain and extremely stufft.. I went to the pharmacy and got sinofresh, which is an antiseptic and after a couple of days the pain was much better but I was stuffy still... now after 3 weeks I still have some pain but no bad... BUT I'm extremely stuffy, so much that I started using Afrin 4 times a day

I have lots of mucus now, most of the time clear. I have only seen yellow mucus 4 times in this 3 weeks. My ears are clogged too.

Does that sound like a sinus infection???? I also have pressure.... I'm so sick of this... what should I do???????????

It could be a sinus infection. I have a sinus infection right now and it started out with the clogged ears, no other symptons until yesterday. I am going to the dr today. If I were you I would go ahead and go to the dr. It is not going to get any better with out an antibiotic. Good Luck!

GGRRR!!!!!!!! I hate it... how do you know it's a sinus infection if you only have clogged ears?

I thought that you needed the green pus to have a sinus infection, but was told the facial pain is symptom enough in some cases. I think what you have is a sinus infection. Throw out the Afrin...That is one of the worst sprays on the market. Buy some salt water and use that up your nose. I would make an appointment to see the doctor and get a good antibiotic.

Gab2000 those are the same symptoms i have except i can add dizziness to the list of mine. I know its frustrating. I have pressure in the forehead area and the left side of my head. My neck feels a lil stiff to. Good luck, and let us know how you turn out.
