Today I went out and immediatly was in a "brain fog" because of allergies. I was a walking zombie. As day progressed into night I started to feel a sinus headache coming on. I didn't take anything for it and now I feel jaw/teeth pain on my lower jaw too. My whole head aches from my forhead to my jaw....is this typical when someone has sinus headache problems related to allergies?
I took two Tylenol about 45minutes ago and the pain seems to be less than before but it's still there. Is this normal with sinus pressure.
hey, your problems seem to be aweful. Sinusitis is commonly treated in Vietnam by simply scraping the sinus membrane off and you are basically cured. If you are in this state, maybe a trip to Vietnam might fix you up.
Yes and no. Everyone is different, but when I feel the way you've described I know I have developed a sinus infection and that it isn't just allergies.
and to jv--people here are looking for real advice, not smart alec answers.

Hi, Elda. Sneezydiva really hit it on the head. For me, jaw/teeth pain accompanied by aching cheekbones/head are always signs (for me at least) of a sinus infection. I do get "all over" headaches from allergies, but from what you are describing, sure sounds like sinus. In fact, I have one of the worst sinus infections I ever had. Stabbing pain in my left cheek, teeth ache, colored drainage, etc. I've been on Biaxin XL for 6 days, but I don't see any difference. I'm going to the doc shortly to see if there is anything else I can do to whip this.
I get terrible teeth/jaw pain as well, Totally normal, my dentist showed me in my X Rays how my sinus cavities are full and clogged looking! They are pretty bad considering that you can't tell they are clogged from my X Rays back in March!
