What can I do for these dang sensitve sinuses? - Sinus Problems Message Board

I am constantly in pain in my sinuses from something getting up in there and irritating it. IN the car the cold AC blowing in my face makes me get very dizzy where I have to pull that car over. The after affects of this is pain throughout my sinuses and head and it hurts for a couple of hours after that. Also, i stay dizzy in my nose after that happens. If I don't get into the car for the most part it stays ok unless i smell strong perfume or some strong odor throws me off. What can I do? I need to get rid of this sensitivity!! What can I do to desensitize?

I wish I had an answer for you, but I don't...I'm the same way with a lot of smells, though -- very frustrating.

Anyway, I'm wondering how you made out with the neurologist and the migraines...?? Are you feeling any better? Hope so...

I would think a steroid spray or Astelin might help, but I'm not sure. I know can are used for treatment of non-allergic rhinitis, but I'm not sure if that would be your diagnosis.
