I have a question, sinuses and crying - Sinus Problems Message Board

I have had sinus trouble for as long as I can remember. Has crying ever affected anyone else? I was fine the day before yesterday. Yesterday, I had a rough morning, I cried for a bit, and now, my head hurts, forehead, around my eyes and nose, and my face feels all stuffy. Is this normal? Very slight stuffy nose. I know you can get this way after crying, But I didn't know it could affect your sinuses. THANKS.....

Crying swells the sinuses. Have you ever cried so hard your eyes get swollen? Same thing happens to your sinuses. DOn't worry as the swelling in your eyes goes down so will your sinuses.

Crying always affects my sinuses. They feel so raw and swollen after a good cry. And if it's allergy season, it makes me feel horrible, and often gives me a headache. Not fun, but it's normal.

Yep, mine too. My nose gets so swollen and stuffy I can't breathe through it at all.
