Unhappy Help for dry sinuses!!

I have been having this horrible problem with my sinuses and I was wondering if anyone knew of anyway to relieve it. My sinuses seem to swell just as soon as I step outside in the cold and they are really, really dry and it makes it hard to breathe. My doctor said they were swollen and gave me Nasonex and another sinus spray to use but said that if I use it all of the time the sinuses may start to bleed. I am trying to avoid this happening so I am looking for alternative ways to help out. It is really a horrible feeling it feels like every breath I take my nose gets drier and dries and I can feel it in my forehead and I get terrible headaches. I have increased my water intake hoping that this would help and sometimes it does but some days it is almost unbearable. Is there anyone out there with this same issue? Or is there anyone that can help me out at all? Any feedback would be great cause I am just miserable when this happens. Also, I am not sure if this is a contributing factor, but I do have TMJ and I know that this can cause some sinus problems.

Jennikay, I have had sinus for years and I am prone to sinus infection also dry sinus. I use a nasal rinse called NeilMed sinus rinse, I use it everymorning at least and if sick twice a day. When my sinus is dry I also use vaseline on a q-tip, this helps the dry-burn. Hope some of this helps
