For the last few days I have had the strangest sensation of pressure pushing down on an eye tooth. I had a root canal in the tooth next to it about 10 years ago. There is no pain, but pressure and at times it seems to pulse with my heartbeat. At times it feels almost as if someone literally has their finger up my nose, and the sensation seems to move a little from time to time. I often have sinus pain and pressure, but nothing like this. I'm really hoping it's just sinus problems and that I don't need a second root canal. Can sinuses cause a feeling of cold/pressure on just one tooth? I started on antibotics this morning just in case it is a root canal, but I'm -really- hoping it's just sinuses, as I can't get to see my dentist until August.
