| neti pot working or no?
simple question: if the water from the neti pot appears to be going through uninterrupted and not bringing mucus out, does that mean i dont have a sinus infection?
BACKGROUND INFO:
so, my username is because a few montsh ago i thought i had candida in my mouth so i posted here with a question. turns out its just bacteria... probably from post nasal drip. my doctor took an x ray and told me i have a sinus infection. i have dark swollen circles under both my eyes no matter what i do. i have headaches constantly.
but i have used a neti pot before and whenever i used it tons of sh*t always came out with the water. this time, my doctor told me to use a neti pot so i am but there appears to be no blockage. the water just goes straight through pretty quickly. on one side it seems to go a little faster, (the side that is worse with swelling the water goes through a little more slowly) but still, in the past when i have had a sinus infection literally gobs of snot came out. this time nothing... only bubbling.
i am on day 9 of a fourteen day course of antibiotics.
do i have a sinus infection or is my doctor wrong?
