 Cancer - Vulval & Vaginal
I would like to make contact with any women who have been diagnosed with vulval or vaginal cancer. Also anyone suffering with vulval problems and having a difficult time getting referred for further investigation.
Although these two cancers are classed as rare, the indications are that they are becoming more common and are affecting not only post-menopausal women as the experts suggest, but also women in their 50's, 40's, 30's and 20's. Most women when asked have never heard of either cancer and early diagnosis is vital for successful treatment. However many women are being diagnosed late because they do not highlight the problems they are having early enough or their primary care doctor fails to refer them for further investigation.
