| Pulmonary Embolism
Most people do not live to tell you the warning signs of a Pulmonary Embolism. I was sitting at home and began to feel nauseous. I ate something thinking I was really hungry. About 30 minutes later I could feel my heart rate increasing and took my blood pressure, it was high but not too bad. All of a sudden it felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest definately a problem. After just a few tests at the hospital the CT showed I had suffered a pulmonary embolia. Don't ignore the symtpoms; I was doubting myself during the ride to the hospital. My heart rate and blood pressure had gone back down and it seemed as though it was just a case of anxiety.
