I have started having allergy symptoms recently and am very nervous to try any of the standard allergy remedies due to my Sjogrens (I am pretty religious with all of my Sjogrens solutions but am still on the dry side). What is the least offensive (drying) of the allergy tactics? Any and all recommendations would be appreciated!
Right now I'm on fexofenedine (Allegra 180) which I take once a day. The doctor recently added Singulair because I still had a chronic cough and some mucous problems. Except for a slight drying of my throat (which makes taking pills a little harder) I have had no problems and feel much better. It works well with my Plaquenil and Imuran.
Thank you Jesse88! This is really helpful. I recently learned that Gingko Biloba has natural anti-allergy properties so I have been using that and it seems to really be helping. That being said, I was hoping to know about other options in case the Gingko turns out to not be strong enough or it loses its efficacy over time, so again, thank you!
