Going to see SSDI reveiw doctor - any hints?
I have an appointment at the end of the month to be reviewed by a doctor chosen by Social Security. I have Sjogren's, Hashimoto's, and Reynaud's and have not worked for several months. Can anyone advise me how to explain to the doctor (in the best, most concise way possible) about how hard it is to live with incredible fatigue, dry mouth that makes it hard to talk, Reynaud's that makes it hard to write plus the forgetfulness and lack of energy that make it impossible to work. I need this money so badly and know I deserve it but am afraid I will not be able to explain things in a way that will convince the doctor to approve my SSDI application. I am 63 and have recently developed arthritis in my hip so am limping badly but this is probably not rheumatoid arthritis but is likely instead regular osteoarthritis. Any hints for what to say and how to say it would be appreciated. Thank you.
