Could My Back Ache Be Related to SS?

Started having middle back pains around November 2009. It's up near where the kidneys are and the pain did not seem to be spine related. But my urinalysis was clean, while my back x-ray showed a "mild arthritic" back.

I would say my back ache isn't really debilitating. I can still function. But it's way more than just annoying. The aches are especially painful when you bend forward a little while standing.

Could this be related to SS? Never had middle back pains before. Occasionally had lower back pains. But the aches occasionally seem more nerve-related: sometimes electric, sometimes tingling ... I can sometimes feel something bulging or pushing outside from the inside.
