dental problems
 

I have an extremly high number of dental caries so all my teeth have had to be crowned. Now I have had several flareups with infections and more dental work needed to the tume of over $5,000. Has anyone been able to get help through medicare or regular insurance since it is a physical disease?

I've been using medical insurance for eye problems, so I don't see why you couldn't use it for dental problems? It's worth asking your insurance company. It's related to a medical problem.

I just recently came across this on the Sjogren's Syndrome Foundation web site: Under the Get Connected, Shop for Sjogren's link, there's information on dental plans. I don't use this myself, but it's something else to look into. Good luck!

I have a lot of dental issues due to my Sjogrens. Does anyone know if you can use health insurance because it is a medical issue that causes these problems if anyone knows please post
