Could this be Sjogrens?
Am waiting on auto immune blood tests results but meanwhile wanted to get some advice. I've been ill for decades starting with blood transfusion that gave me Hep C which was undiagnosed for 26 years. I cleared the Hep C in 2008 with grueling interferon treatment but was left with diabetes type 1 (latent autoimmune diabetes) from Hep C.
I thought symptoms were a residual effect of interferon therapy because I still feel sick, weak, extreme fatigue, hot body temp sometimes accompanied by night sweats, swollen submandibular salivary glands which enlarge according to the level of illness felt, very depressed with anxiety attacks. Also clearing my throat all the time. Eyes feel somewhat dry. Not sure if mouth is dry but I always chew sugarless gum.
I'm so sick of being sick and am overwhelmed by life's daily trials. Sometimes I just don't care if I'm alive -- don't worry, it just feels good to vent. I just hope I can get a diagnosis which will lead to drugs that make me feel better.
Thanks for listening.
