| Can't take Evoxac or Salagen
Does anyone have advice for dry mouth? I can't take Evoxac or Salagen because of bad side effects. I'm very sensitive to medications. From what I understand, these are the only medicines for dry mouth? Does anyone take anything that helps?
All I can do is use Biotene mouthwash and sprays, have cough drops with me at all times, and a small bottle of water. I can't chew gum because I get headaches from the artificial sweeteners and jaw pressure! Any other ideas?
Sometimes I cough/choke on nothing, just because my mouth is dry, and I have to chug water, but still can't stop coughing. If I go to restaurants, I worry that I'll finish my drink and will be stuck not being able to eat until I get more. I wish there was something else I could do. Any advice?
