Wow! It sounds like what I went through. I just weaned off steroids after 2-1/2 years. I was lucky enough to have had a doc that believed in me and that was not easy. I am now on Plauquenil for two weeks since the diagnosis. I seem to have taken two steps backwards. Feel worse on Plaq so doc said to add 2 mg. of Medrol back into the mix. Somewhat better. I started on 200 mg. of Plaq and then he increased to 200 mg x 2/day. I see improvements in certain areas. My nose runs again after about 10 years of it not. My eyes are nt that dry. I feel your pain. I have been everywhere you have been. Not a nice thing to go through. I hope things are improving. Oh, yes the disease that takes its time showing in bloodwork or the docs are not doing the right blood work. Good Luck and stay healthy.
