Jojoba Oil Proudct- Ideal? (Marti) - Skin Problems Message Board

Hey Marti, apparently you know a lot about jojoba oil and I already know the benefits as I searched and read through many of them

But I have a question about the jojoba oil product I have

Mine is "Jojoba & E Skin Oil" by the company Derma E

Here is the description on the back of the label:

"Derma E's Jojoba(90%) & E(10%) Oil is an excellent moisturizer and problem skin treatment. Jojoba has been used to soften cracked, dry skin, heping to maintain skin's natural moisture and pH balance."

Ingredietns" Jojoba Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate(Vitamin E)

Now you have said to get straight up 100% jojoba Oil and mix it with Vitamin E oil- 4 ounces to 1 ounce ratio, and mix and apply small amount

I'm wondering is it better to get separate 100% jojoba oil and mix it with E or is this product ideal?

I have used it for facial scars but I haven't seen results as I like, maybe I'm doing it wrong. Thanks.

The oil you have is perfectly fine as the mix ratio of jojoba to vitamin E is good. If you want more 'healing' benefits, simply add a little more vitamin E to the mixture. Remember though that vitamin E is much more 'oily' than jojoba, so you might only want to use the extra vitamin E at night. You could also apply the one you have, wait for most of it to absorb into the skin, then apply a little extra straight vitamin E to the spots that you feel need more healing/anti-aging benefits.
