p.s. I think I saw once where you mentioned that you have a website, are you allowed to post it here? I'd like to see it. |
Yes, I am allowed to post my website because I don't 'sell' anything - it is strictly a 'Nail' educational website: www.hooked-on-nails.com
As for my skin; I inherited good skin from my mother, thank goodness. My other sisters got theirs from my father, and they seem to always have some sort of problem. I finally got my oldest sister to follow my 'routine' and hers is looking much better.
I never use soap & water on my face - it is much too drying in my opinion. I clean my face and remove my makeup with a few dropsof 100% jojoba oil. I wipe it all off with a very soft cloth. Then, I apply a few drops of an oil 'recipe' containing 4oz. jojoba oil, 1oz vitamin E oil, 1oz. sweet almond oil and 1oz. rice bran or safflower oil.
If I 'itch' from the winter weather, I use another 'concoction' I mix: 8oz of base lotion (I get this from my professional beauty supply distributor) 1oz. jojoba, 1oz. vitamin E, 1oz sweet almond oil and 1oz of either rice bran, safflower or passion flower oil.
Also, I DO NOT try to get a tan - EVER! Even if I am just working in the backyard I wear at least an SPF8 sunscreen - especially on my face. Sun can cause wrinkles and I just do not want to look like a friend of mine who is 10 years younger than me, tan all the time, and wrinkled to the 9's. Even though she is 10 years younger, she looks older than me.
That's about it
