What to get for Dark Underarms? R/O Please!!! - Skin Problems Message Board

My underarms started to get dark from when i was pregnant 7 yrs ago w/ my first child, then it lightened up a bit after awhile,(but it was still fairly dark) then i gave birth again 2 yrs ago and now my underarms are darker than ever, what kind of cream is the best for this? ive heard about going to a derm and doing a skin bleaching, but i dont have money for all that, im sure there is something out there i can use, any advice on this? pls help!! thank you

It sounds like you got melasma. Try using a product that has hydroquinone in it. Go to your derm maybe even to find it. If not, products like Obagi Clear might work. I would just be glad that you didn't get it on your face since it's common to get the dark skin above the lip after pregnancy.
