Please Help Me - Skin Problems Message Board

hope someone out there can help me....over the past year i have developed these painful blisterlike bumps on my fingers...i dont get alot of them but when they are there they are very painful...like there is something inside them....i thought it was from washing my hands too much or my birth control...im very confused.....they do go away but then appear again....if anyone else has this please let me know

Do they itch at all? Is the pain a prickly-like one when you touch the "blister"? Do they break open? Are they in clumps or just one here and one there?

It could be a number of things:

Hives: a reaction to something you are allergic too;

Contact Dermatitis: a reaction to something you are touching;

Eczema: a skin condition that you can treat with prescription cream, and is often found on areas that have high contact with water...IE: hands, wrists;

Psoriasis: again a skin condition that can be treated with prescription cream;

Warts.

thank you for responding ..

the blisters appear here and there...they are not itchy...and do hurt when touched...im always washing my hands..so they are constantly in water....was just wonderin if they are something serious to worry about....
