For the past couple of days, I have occasionally felt this hot feeling in the top layers of my skin--a heat similar to a bad sunburn, but without the pain and no noticeable redness. It is definitely not a sunburn; I mostly avoid the sun. This feeling is generally on my shoulders and the tops of my arms. I wrapped my shoulders in a towel after a shower and before too long it became unbearably hot. Does anyone know what might make someone feel like this? Thank you.
