Tanning? - Skin Problems Message Board

Okay, so I've heard a tanning bed is just as bad for your skin as being out in the sun with no sunscreen, I want to get a tan but I thought the only way to actually get a tan was to be in the sun and get burnt.. then have that turn into a tan. How do you get tan?

Well for me self tanning lotions don't work at all so what i do is mainly because my legs are what is mostly white and never gets a chance to tan in the sun cuz i don't ever wear shorts unless i have some color on them, is i just bought this stuff called sally hansen airbrush legs which works really well. It is like a foundation for your legs and it also covers up spots really well too. It comes in 4 different shades so you can get the one that is closest to your skin tone. I also read that you can use it all over your body except for your face and that is works really well.
