Sensitive underarms - Skin Problems Message Board

For some reason ever since I started shaving when I was younger, my undersarms have been really sensitive. I guess you'd call it razor burn, but usually every time I shave I get red bumps on my underarms that burn/itch really bad. I've tried different deodorants, razors, soaps/shaving cream, and tried Cortaid once, but nothing has helped

does anyone have any suggestions?

I use soap and a mac 3 razer by gilette. I shave every 3-4 days. When I shave too often I get those bumps too. Make sure to take your shower first so the warm water makes it easier to shave. Make sure you use alot of soap lather it up really good.
I use to get those bumps when I was younger. I use to shave everyday because I didn't want anyone to see any hair. It is still a little sensitive but I don't get those bumps anymore.
