Dry facial skin - Skin Problems Message Board

Hello,

I'm a 25 year old male who has always had sensitive and sometimes-dry skin. In the Winter I usually apply lotion to my arms and legs to relieve itching, but I'm usually ok otherwise except for my hands to which I apply lotion daily.

Over the last few months I've noticed the skin on my face getting more dry and am wondering what to do about it. I've stopped washing it with soap entirely and that hasn't helped. After my shower in the mornings I've been applying a bit of Neutrogena's hand lotion to my face to reduce the appearance of dry skin, but it's just as dry again the next day.

Facial care is new territory for me so I'm hoping to get some advice here.

Moisturize with Nivea for Men! I use that stuff twice daily and its a miracle cream. I use to have dryness do to the use of proactiv and now, I could wash my face 4 times a day and still not dry out, thats if I moistuize afterwards.

Also Gillette for Men with SPF 15 looks like something good to try, but Nivea is my recommendation because theirs no oil in the cream which leaves your skin smooth, and not oily or cause you to break out.
