Red Spots??? - Skin Problems Message Board

I have these small red spots that don't go away. I have 3 on my face. Makeup doesn't cover them, they show up in pictures, and they're just really embarrassing! I went to the dermatologist 3 times for this. She said they MAY be overgrown blood vessels??? MAY BE? She tried zapping it or whatever it is they do with that electronic needle thing, lol. I have them on my chest (many) and a few on my arms.

It's hard to describe what they look like. The spots are kinda round, red in the middle with a little redness around it. If you press on it with your finger, it turns white and comes back when you remove your finger.

Any idea what these are? How to get rid of them? Are they permanent? If so, can they be covered? I bought dermablend to cover them, and it does, but it doesn't match my skin color. And if I try to apply foundation/base over the dermablend, it just wipes right off.

I have the exact same red spots. I went to the derm and they lasered me with there V Beam Laser. They said it will kill the blood vessels and they will just dissapear. This is supposed to happen like a week after you got zapped, but they havent gone away for me. So i called them and they told me to come in again they need to adjust the laser. Maybe the intensity or something? I will let you know how it goes.
