My skin is driving me crazy already - my face has dry patches and my hands and feet feel like they just perpetually get drier and drier, no matter how much lotion I apply!
Calgon's lotion helped during the summer, but I don't think it'll be enough for the dry winter season.
Does anyone have any recommendations for lotions? I love St. Ives products but have yet to try their lotions, so if there's something better out there, please let me know!
I have super dry skin always and the only drugstore brand lotion that works for me is Cetaphil Cream(not the lotion- the cream in the tub). I use some other very pricey stuff, but since you've used Calgons and St. Ives, this is probably more in the price range you're looknig for.
During the winter, i had to use gold bond medicated lotion. It feels really soothing on dry cracked skin. They have extra strenght (green bottle) or regular (yellow bottle). Not to be used on face of course.
I love anything Nivea, they may be a little more on the expensive side of lotions but they ARE excellent. I have horribly dry skin alot of the year, and the only lotion that satisfies me are the Nivea products. They have a new product out called "Nivea Soft" and it can come in a little tub or a smaller amount in the squeeze bottle but it is AMAZING.... it is SO light, not greasy, and moisturizes like thicker creams. Just a suggestion, try some diff ones, see what your skin takes to well.... good luck
I use sea buckthorn face and body lotion. Blue sage naturals makes it. I also have very dry skin and sometimes get psoriasis on my arms and this stuff gets rid of it. i think it's $9 for 4 oz, and worth every penny.
I use an ******* body butter (since most moisturizers contain mineral oil which can have a drying effect) Also when I get out of the shower I use neutrogena body oil (sesame oil).
