Scary skin development on neck? Ideas?? - Skin Problems Message Board

Hello,

Noticed something funny today on my neck, took some pics, got worried, searched{removed} , and found your awesome forum! That's basically how it happened --

This little spot on my neck has got me worried, I don't know what it is, or what it may be. My son tells me I need to visit the plastic surgeon and/or a doctor, although it does not hurt and causes no discomfort at this time.. Do you have any ideas as to what this might be?

{removed} I think you should go see a dermatologist. {removed}Could be a fungal type thing or a type of skin cancer. Don't let that scare you. My dad had a lesion on his nose that was cancer and the derm prescribed a cream and it took it away. The trick is to catch it early and not ignore it.
