I've tried everything, nothing works from tree oil to oatmeal, all kinds of medicines even anti-herpes stuff.

Hydrocortisone brings it down to mere bumps/nothing, and if I stop it's treatment it comes back.

Symptoms:
Red acne-like dots around mouth in a consistent star-looking formation.

Treatment:
Used hydrocortisone 0.2% (hydroval) for about 2 weeks, had really good results. But, if I stop for 3 days, or take it less than 3 times/day it spreads out again. When it spreads out fully, mouth area becomes dry and sides of mouth crack.

These "dots" are much like acne, and some have whiteheads. They are what the doctor assumes to be hives/eczema from an allergic reaction. They can get very red and inflamed, more so than acne.


I stop the hydrocortisone because I've read that applying it for more than 5 days - 2 weeks it can cause longterm damage.

History:
Burn marks across cheeks and very dry skin, and skin peeled and was dried out all around mouth around 1-2 months ago, before any of this occured. Never had anything remotely similar in life, however eczema/psoriasis runs in family and had what seemed to be heat rashes on arms/elbows when younger.

Any clues on what this is, and what I should be doing to fix it?
