hyperpigmentation / dark marks: to bleach or to exfoliate? - Skin Problems Message Board

hi,

i really want to treat my hyperpigmentation marks now!!! but im really not sure what i should do. i think the most convenient way to treat this is to bleach or exfoliate. so what do you guys recommend?

Hey. I have the same problem as you. My face would look a million times better if I didn't have the pigmentation marks. I'm going to get 100% Aloe Vera Gel today, I heard it works well. I'll post my results in this thread. If that doesn't work, I have some backup plans. So I'll post back probably sometime in the afternoon, talk to you later.

The Obagi Nu Derm system is excellent for treating this.

I have been on it for almost 8 years and it incorporates both an exfoliator and a bleach. I don't put anything else on my skin!

I also get an Obagi blue peel (chemical peel) every few years to keep everything smooth and clear.
