aloe vera for acne scars - Skin Problems Message Board

as a teenager i used to have moderate to severe acne. now that i am 22 my skin it less prone to acne, thank goodness. but now i have scaring, no too bad, but in some lighting my skin looks worse than i had thought. i've heard that mederma is suppose to work pretty good. but i am looking for something more natural to make my scars and pores look smoother and smaller. i've heard that aloe vera might work, has anyone tried this method before, does it work? any thoughts would help too. thanks.

Aloe Vera works really good in healing the skin, but it has to be taken orally and externally. The best Aloe Vera is right from the plant itself, but that could get a little sticky and sometimes you don't get enough and it seems like your destroying the plant just for a little bit of gel ( though it does heal itself). Anyway the best Aloe Vera is the purest, I got 98% pure from Wegmans, and it works really well, I also got the Aloe Vera gel tablets to take. You should also mix this will Vit E too, the combination works really good.

thanks x 3, i think i will purchase the gel tabs, i already take vitamen e, the aloe vera plant doesn't seem convinent, but i'm sure it work great. i'll see. thanks again
