I was talking with a friend at work today and felt compelled to help her find out what's causing a skin rash she's had for many years. Conventional doctors/dermatologists just give her pills or creams or something similar (a bandaid for the symptoms) and basically say "goodbye, that will cure it." That REALLY angered me because a few rashes can be caused by a serious illness. There have been biopsies taken and MANY things tried... but it always comes back. Here's what else I "know": she's had this for about 7 years. The skin lesions that 1st developed were, as she put them, hives. She's approx. in her early 50's. Now this has become a rash... it developes over several areas of her body... 1st as fluid-filled nodules that itch, then breaking open and becoming sore & painful. She said they're especially bad across her back and near her breasts. But they're also up around her neck, which she showed me. Those were indeed very red, though small. She didn't mention any other symptoms. I should have asked! I'm very concerned and want to help her find out what's causing it and help her! Can any of you here help??? I've wondered about a bacteria (or even mold) in her house... one of the doctors found a bacteria in her nose and said that's what's (of all things!) causing it, but I'm truly stumped. HELP!!! Please!?!?!

P.S. 2 other people at work mentioned they, or someone they know have similar rashes... SCAREY stuff!
